Storytelling Sunday: The Heart of a Story

Looking in detail at the narrative and structure of story, this day is for beginners and experienced storytellers alike.
Arthur, Merlin, Lancelot and Guinevere will join us in an ancient British story. We will consider character, description, action and emotion, and discuss the ‘hero’s journey’ and our own experiences. We will then work through individual tales to play with, and strengthen story structure, and to explore pace and balance in telling. I hope this workshop will help you develop confidence throughout a telling.
Workshops are £55 for the day (10am – 4.30pm), including teas / coffees and materials. There is a discount available on three workshops if you book them all together before 8th October (£150 for the three).
Booking is essential, as places are limited. Full payment for the workshop will secure your place.
