Wild Women and Witches is a storytelling about the hedge-wisdom held by women in Britain through the ages.
At this time of year, the old festival of Samhain, the veil between the worlds is at its thinnest. Snuggle up by the fire with a tipple of your choice and listen to the old stories about the wisdom of the hedge-elders.
These traditional folk tales paint a colourful picture of how society has used and abused wise women – from midwifery to witch-burning to herbalism and magic.
60 minutes plus discussion. Suitable for 14+ – contains some graphic content.
